The legendary Mia Hamm

To become a professional footbal player in America is not an easy things, like we all know women's football isn't a popular sports in America in two last decades. But in 90's new women's football star has arise, she was Mia Hamm. Mia Hamm was born in Alabama march 17, 1972, she was one of the best player in football history of America she is more than an athlete but she is the hope, she makes every woman in America started watch and play football until this day.

She has two world cup and two olympic gold medals that is enough to describe who is she in America football history. Her father is an air force pilot, In an interview she said that her role model was her siblings, the man that make she knows about football give her motivations everyday and convinced herself to became a profesional footbal player but unluckily, her siblings passed away because of rare blood disease. It was a big lost for her at that time.

Now she is very concerned about equility in football, where she feel unjust when the government have more attention to men's football rather than women's football because she thinks they deserve more because they have many important title than the men's team.

She said that this is the right momment to give more ooportunity for all women in America to get what they deserves. She always make a campaign about equality in football in America.

Mia Hamm is the best example for everyone, she was the legend eventough she has retired from football but she always concern about football and her gender's.

Mia hamm has made 276 appereances for USWNT. She was very popular with her number nine Jersey not only become a captain but she also was a role model for all young footballer at that time, she play for Washington freedom in her last carrer in 2004 untill she married a former baseball player Normar Garciaparra and they both become the co owner of that club in MLS.
